How To Make A Naturally Whitening Tooth Powder

Why not just use toothpaste from the store? Apart from all the nasty additives that can cause irritation, there is one horrible ingredient that almost every store-bought toothpaste has. Glycerin. Now, glycerin can be a wonderful thing when it’s the base for an herbal tincture or when a little squirt is added to liquid soap or lotion. When it’s on our teeth, though, it’s terrible. In a glass jar, pour all ingredients and mix with a wooden or plastic utensil. Metal will make the bentonite clay loose effectiveness.
Wet your tooth brush and then shake off all excess water.
Tap your tooth brush into the powder (you might want a separate jar for each family member) and brush, normally.
For extra whitening power, allow the tooth powder to stay on your teeth for a few minutes after you’re done brushing.
Rinse well.
